I love to pick out my horse and cheer him/her on, it's like a football team, only you have money riding on the horse. I guess you can have money riding on a football game too, but I've never done that..

Oh Ohhh except for the office pools. You know all the numbers and a quater a number..but that's not picking out your own team, that's cheering for your number!

actually went to the "derby" once - just happened to be stationed for a short time at ft knox when the derby was being run - so a bunch of us went - i swore off of famous events like that immediatly after that - there must have been at least fifty million people there, all in a box about five ft square
only other races i've been to are locally (portland meadows) went with an old manager several years ago
