Probably NVAX convertbondholders shorted against the box above the convert price of 5.68. I'm not Zeev but am familiar with this kind of financing. Then they can hold the short and cover anytime they want by converting and delivering the shares.

Hedge funds love these deals. It is not high quality financing and companies that do these deals, do so because they can't do better deals.

Without reading all the details of that note, particularly conversion rates, tough to say. But any time you have a convert in the money, there is room for shorting against the block. Took the last ZRAN off here at $14.51 for $.57. Will wait for better prices to reenter. Note BCRX breaking to new low of day... in edit, and I am back in BCRX here at $14.53... also reestablished ORCT (fourth) at $18.18, had a bid at $18.25 and they gave me a $.07 discount, strange.
