sinnet: There are no rules on this. It's strictly up the the judge and how long he takes to make his decision. It can be weeks to months and there is no way to know unless he give a hint from the bench.
The parties usually receive an e mail or letter outlining his decision and then they prepare a Proposed Judgment and make sure he signs the correct findings of fact.
