Serious1 - Thank you for the reports from last weeks conference and your thoughts on what has taken place so far in Vegas. We are lucky to have "front-line" input from these type events.
I, like you and maybe many others here probably took your report that something BIG would be released or unveiled this week. IF fact, I would venture to say that many had thoughts of the stock price exploding upward since the anticipation of the conference seemed to have played a factor in the recent stock price. Since nothing "major" has transpired at this point, I guess it helps to put things into perspective when it comes to GTE and the strats. That being, the world is on the brink of being introduced to a concept that Huff has said will change the way we look at communications forever. When that happens, it will be only a matter of time before the price reflects this event.
Test1 has provided great insight and must have great questioning skills to get as much info as he has gotten from GTE officials. I also need to thank Rocky for his attempt to keep all of our enthusiasm it check, by focusing on the facts and not speculating on what rumors may happen at the conference. Like the famous wine commerical says: We will serve no wine till it is time (or something like that). The same is true with GTE - Huff will communicate at the right time and we investors have to allow him to manage the company and we simply have to trust his judgement and decisions. He has come through with turning a vision into reality (almost!) so we will continue to hang tight and wait for that moment!!
Maybe something of importance will happen today..........
