#142575 RE: byeandbye #142562

I have been too busy to follow up with management about this and have been waiting for a face-to-face meeting but I think I will drop it here. The Nigerian Air Force Institute of Technology in Kaduna would make a great partner to do LTA UAS research on the African continent IMO. Our company has found that academic research partnerships lead to eventual revenues. And, as well, your product "emerges" from a collaboration of respected leaders within their own defense and scientific community. Your salespeople are their own institutional stakeholders then.

It probably helps that I am a researcher, though. The conversation goes better with an academic than it does if they smell only the profit motive. And there are no promises. But collaboration on the African continent is its own reward IMO. You have to get over a colonial or western elitist mindset, though. This western elitism is one reason that UAS is lagging in Africa IMO. Great observation by you, BAB. Best regards, IJO.
