Correct me if i am wrong. These bids r the starting point when the official auction starts Thursday. From what i read in the bidding procedure (rules) every bid there after has to be in 500.000 increments. Thats why the aution is going to last for a few days.

Why is Wanxiang's bid allegedly only $131 million? Because it's an auction. Would *you* pay more than you have to?
