also look back I 'm sure @ some recent point in time CLF was the best performing stock in the S&P.



So what happened? CLF is not the worst stock so far this year because that label belongs to Apollo the school scam company. Cliff is a close 2nd and the title is within range.

You'd have to question the intelligence of management with their historical acquisitions and overbearing div increase.

Large companies worldwide have accumulated trillions in cash, not because they want too but as a safety margin. Cliff on the other hand distributed everything.

I'm not sure who was watching but they ended the last quarter with cash cash and equivalents at a whopping $36 million. That's payroll for a couple of days.

Thanks! What does the S&P use to determine who is in and who is out? Must have to do with the largest 500 companies by market cap???
