After work, I read all the posts. It's after noon so Mondays are always tough!
Thanks for taking the time to write a great perspective on the failure of the system.
I can't disagree with you or make a logical rebuttal to your facts.
Lawyers advertize on national Television stations and local News Papers to fight Social Security.
Their success rate is very good. Binder & Binder is 99% successful!
Doctors are the most instrumental in the pursuit of SS benefits.
Truly, Social Security will fight for only a limited amount of time.
Judges are swamped with cases.
I'll admit that this is a failure of humanity but only if you can understand that
these humans would accept a meager existence that SS can offer over the meager wages/opportunity that are available.
As for free lunches (or even breakfasts), it's the same with every financial class in America or the world....................
There are those who would use the system to their advantage.
This mentality is prevalent in all America.
From the very biggest Corporations to the individual person.
Romney (just to put a face on things) made $20 Million in earnings and payed 14% in income tax.
15% on earnings is what a worker pays making $50,000 a year.
Hedge funds contribute just as much.
And they're not undernourished! LOL!
Every one seems to look for that free lunch.
And, Just like you, I don't need to buy it!
