Indy, I was directly involved in the development of the SkySat. I know for a fact that many man years of development was put into the software systems alone. In the history of aviation, no airship has reached 65,000 feet and survive to tell about it. I beg to differ with you, airship technology is very very complicated...and billions have been spent to reach altitude...too bad I deleted all my Dr. K white papers on this.
