What I find funny is that a public company would want to be anonymous in its registration of the company's website.
It could be embarrassment. It could be obfuscation. It could be cover for nefarious doings.

Whatever the reason, the one thing it doesn't say is "We're proud of our company and have every confidence in its success".

You are allowed a grace period to renew. So the renewal was most likely in "pending" status, waiting for someone from the company to renew.
