The party that held the registration and allowed it to expire WASN'T THE COMPANY.

Assuming that GoDaddy held the domain in a pending status for the registrant.....Airam Capital.....Airam could renew and maintain the registration or transfer the registration to ANYONE they chose to transfer it to at a cost of something like nine bucks, right?
It's correct to say that we have no idea who really owns the domain at this point, isn't it?
