Im a Veteran of the U.S. Army (1974-1976) and a member of the American Legion. Your speech hits on MANY great points. So many folks forget that the families of our Vets suffer in many ways as well. And...the treatment so many Vets receive both physically and emotionally...well...it often just sucks!

And while we are here to honor all of those great men and women today, we should remember the motto of the National Commander of The American Legion, James Koutz (Cow ts) - that “Every Day is Veterans Day”.

If there is something that would be great is this statement by Commander James Koutz. However, we seem to live in a society that forgets way to quickly. As a matter of fact...we live in a society that most folks dont even think of the fact that we have men and women in harms way right this minute!.....SAD!

Again...good job on your speech for today....God bless the USA...our military men and women both past and present!
