As I recall, the US did need the help of Pakistan when they were (still are) searching for AlQaeda (spelling?) in Afghanistan...as part of the initial war on terror. Maybe that is related. I don't know a lot about this biz. but, "Homeland Security" is also a sector or biz that makes products or has services that fit into this general area/category.
