#33670 RE: 236T568 #33666

That is nothing

They are further predicting an $8.0 billion market value by next year for GTGP

I'll see your ha $8B, and raise ya to $4T!

The KMAG cult starts with a CEO Reid statement (and other sites) the RFID business is potentially $4T a year. Then comes the extrapolation that since everyone knows KMAG is a RFID manufacturing leader (never mind their tags are the older EAS technology, and they manufacture nothing), then a mere N% could be $200B in sales. So what about the competition?

But but but "Jeff" (our drinking of Koolaid buddy Reid) has the best technology in the field, or some analogous claim. MIA is the concept Texas Instruments, and Motorola have more in research funding than Reid will ever make from his royalties. On the low margin end you have numerous Chinese companies. I want to say the field already has at least 50 major players, but the cult believes there is mega$$$ in store for KMAG. All Reid has to do is jump in, and capture market share from TI, Motorola, the Chinese, Indians(?),whoever. Yippee!!!

Meanwhile back the real world Reid will be sitting in a SEC office with his lawyers giving a deposition, if he hasn't already. Mean ole SEC! Further reading reveals that Reid wasn't all that far off on things at the end of 2010. That's assuming his claims in 2008-2011 weren't bogus... ok scratch that defense of him! LOL In 2011 he went ape-chit in the stock area, along with his claims.
