i think we can all agree that this morning's wave of back and forth got way off base.

1st ammendment can be regulated in time and place, especially in a forum owned by a private company, and the ihub terms of service say this morning's heated exchange was out of bounds. I've been very lenient, but felt my agreement with ihub to do this job dictated that I act on the several posts in this morning's conversation. i read the first one and was going to let it slide, then people got pretty heated.

Your first amendment rights do not apply here. That is just silly.
This message board is for the sole discussion of Fannie and Freddie and that it only what most of us want to see. Comments and speculation about how a Romney administration or and Obama administration will affect the future of FnF is on topic. How you feel about either is not. Stuff like Romney's statements in a 24 year old divorce case is totally off topic.

Yes, I am suggesting what you can and can not post - not telling just suggesting as I am not a moderator. This is not your board, it is ours. Those of us that care about the future of Fannie and Freddie and not how someone feels about Obama or Romney.

If you guys want me to be moderator and show you guys the difference I would be glad to do it. Politics and religion can kill a good message board.
