dyna, Vernon may have done all the engineering back then by himself but I doubt he did all the sales and marketing and patents and contracting, etc all by his lonesome. He was also still the driving genious behind all the current technologies except ICE so what's really different today? Do you think JG and KG weren't involved in the Torsen becoming a success?

Jim Gleasman called me this morning and near the end was joined by Gary S. The conversation lasted about a 1/2 hour and covered a lot of ground. I'm going to try and summerize that conversation and I will try and be meticulous in keeping separate what I said and thought as opposed to what Jim and Gary said.
The first topic I'll try and cover is "The Contract":
1) We both agree that the G's would have to be completely crazy to sigh such a Contract.
2) It's equally unlikely that such a Contract would be signed without being read by consul and the principles.
3) I SUGGEST that it might be possible that a few drafts were floating around and the cover page from the final draft which WAS signed somehow found its way onto a rejected draft. Jim did not say that was what happened but does not rule out the possibility.
4) Jim points out that at the time the Contract was submitted to the SEC (I think) the CXO guys were the Corp officers and therefore did the submitting.
