#3640 RE: dread50above #3629

Correct me if i misspeak here Dread. I am sure you will.

Wasn't the Torsen back in 1951? Was Vernon an employee of a huge company at that time? How old were JG and KG when Torsen became a success? They couldn't have been too old in the early 1950's. What's different is that even though tovc MIGHT have a great product, they surely do not seem to have the ability to market and sell the product. You are correct that Vernon did not sell it on it's own (and that is my real issue), but I highly doubt that current management was instrumental in it's success.

And remember, the Torsen has nothing to do with TOVC which you and others seem to like to lump together. (Didn't Toyoda recently buy it?) You certainly like to make everyone believe that tovc invented it as you describe in your summary about the company.

I do hope that tovc succeeds and everyone here knows I am not and have never been short.

Trucker, your acute business acumine surpasses mine by a mile, so I welcome your response also. You seem to have a great grasp of naked shorts and how it bankrupts companies, and exceptional inside knowledge of the company and it's product's. You have always been clear, succinct and say things in a way we all understand. Tor's explanations of naked shorts is to confusing and all he does is repost complicated answers that i cannot understand (never his own simple explanation), without ever answering the real question.

So please Trucker, help explain. Thanks.

In post #3629 Dread stated, "Do you think JG and KG weren't involved in the Torsen becoming a success?"

I questioned this statement of "fact", but no one stepped up to the plate.

Fact #1: VG invented Torsen in 1951

Fact #2: KG was born in 1953.

Would someone please clear up my confusion or am I the only one here that is confused?
