"Last Tuesday night Obama said that Romney planned to raise defense spending by 2 trillion...

Mr. Romney told Mr. Obama that was not true..
."

I checked to make sure before i typed it ..

Our ruling

The president said Romney planned to increase defense spending
by $2 trillion and that was money the military hadn’t asked for.

Independent analysts confirm that number, and Romney did not deny it.

Military leaders have testified in support of the president’s spending
plan, and we found no evidence of disagreement behind the scenes.

We rate the statement True.

http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2012/oct/05/barack-obama/obama-says-romney-would-spend-2-trilllion-military/

has Romney changed his mind on that one too? .. the Romney/Ryan strategy seems
to shift a lot, it's kinda hard to keep up .. certainly no one could reasonably believe that
Obama and Biden could read their minds to catch all of their dance steps and shuffles ..

good for Joe for catching that one .. i missed it .. :)

You state:

Mr. Ryan said that Mr. Obama had pledged to cut the deficit in half during his term in office...But the deficit rose several trillion...

I really hate to clue in someone who appears clueless but the deficit did not rise several trillion. You conflate the debt with deficit. But the deficit is expected to come in this year at 900 Billion. That will be a cut in the deficit of 36% not quite 50% but going in the right direction. His first year the deficit was close to 1.4T
