Those holes are blast holes right, I mean you have been mining since 1977, you tell me? So, when were the holes blasted, over 50 years ago? That is what I gather from your statement that it takes 50 years for foliage to grow there?
Weeds are just that, weeds, they grow anyplace, anywhere.
Plants do not even need soil. I grow plants hydroponically. Ever see trees growing out of cracks of rocks. Roots will find the nutrients. If recent video is legit overgrowth in that climate could happen in 30 days.
