Loop: Re "Any IDCC shareholder had better realize the importance of Ericy regardless of the technology upon which they made their decision to invest."
It's very apparent that if we don't win the "face-off" with Ericy, we lose the "hockey stick" for '03, and we get another "wait 'til next year."

Loop (or anyone), re: "We learned a great deal today from the chief technology officer of IDCC. It appears that TDD is a large part of our 3g IPR and that the time is still 3 years away for W-TDD." Can you please point me to this post? Due to my work (and childcare) schedule, I have difficulty keeping up with this board!

TIA,

Loop ..... re: your message to IDCC management in your post 11477 regarding that there will never be a better time to announce a settlement with ERICY than prior to the war (Iraq)
as the shorts will be in a major trap and the market cap will
soar. I also hope that management will "watch your finger tips" with this message.
Last night and this morning I have discussed your remarks with
some very knowledgeable people who are (and are not) familar
with the IDCC/ERICY case....without exception everyone agreed with your logic. So, I join you in stating to IDCC management
that "if a deal is done or very close to being done, the completion and early announcement will be well rewarded for all
concerned except the shorts who have had their way with this company for years".
As one of the Dallas 3, "my eyes have seen the glory" as
set forth in the exhibits that were available in the Dallas
Federal Clerk's office.

Loop - I'd love to see a settlement, but I don't see any movement in that direction. ERICY thinks that the cost of licensing IPR (not just IDCC's) is too high, and they have chosen litigation as the means to attack the issue. IMO, this is their line in the sand.
