Jaws, you talk a lot about people not believing the truth. I think a more accurate thing to say would be that some don't recognize what you get off Conspiracy Theory (CT) websites as the truth.
Do you ever question the information you get off those sites? The video in your post that I'm replying to, is about the Gulf War. Interestingly it is title "The Truth Behind the 1991 Gulf War Invasion"
Let's look at the Truth from your Conspiracy Theory (CT) site.
It starts out by saying Neo-Cons were trying to drum up a war against Saddam Hussien. (Didn't say why) It said that Saddam had claimed Kuwait's oil fields for years and that the Bush One Administration "Secretly" told Saddam that they were OK with that.
Consider this:
Kuwait had been allied with the US since it was formed. Their oil fields were their only source of income. On the other hand Iraq 's relationship with the US had be problematic for years. We did assist Iraq during the Iran-Iraq War. A case of the lesser of two evils.
Your video gave no explanation as to why we were "OK" with Saddam taking Kuwait's oil fields. They also didn't explain how they learned of the
Secret
go ahead for Saddam to invade.
The CTs also said the Saddam Allegedly used poison gas on his Country's Kurds. But said it was a FACT that the US supplied the poison gas. Saddam allegedly used the gas that the US factually gave. More Blame America.
The nations of Singapore, Venezuela, Egypt,Germany, India and the UAE sold Iraq the same chemicals that two US companies did. The Chemicals were considered to be precussors to making a variey of weapons grade gasses. The chemicals had a wide range of other uses in processing chemicals. But your guys sorted it all out and say flatly that the US gave Saddam the poison gas used against the Kurds.

THe US duped the Saudi government into allowing us to bring in an invasion force by lying to them by saying Iraq hhad put hundreds of tanks and tens of thousadnds of troops along the Kuwaiti border. The proof of the lie is that 10 years later someone found Russian satillite photos that showed no Iraqi forces in the area.

No mention was made of the FACT that Iraqi mechanized forces invaded Saudi Arabia and captured the city of Kaffji and the Kaffji Oilfield. After a few weeks US, Qatari & Saudi forces drove them ouut.
Saudi Arabia had never allowed foreign military forces in the Kingdom. Other than some US Air Force personnel that had trained their Air Force for years. Yet they fell for the lie that Iraq had mechanized forces on their border. They have a very active Air Force of their own. Yet they allowed the US to bring in hundreds of Abrams tanks and Bradley fighting vehicles plus about half a million military personnel without doing a little aerial recon of their own. Jaws, doesn't that sound kinda strange to you? Oh, that's right. The Russian poictures showed an empty desert. When in doubt, trust the Russians over the USA. Right Jaws?
Do you know that another name for the Gulf War is The 100 Hour War? At the end of your video, showing your truth they showed the hundreds of Iraqi military and thousands of dead Iraqi Army personnel along the Highway of Death. How could that be? The Russki pictures showed an empty desert. And Oh yeah, The CTs even managed to say the USA committed war crimes in taking out Saddam's Army.
Then there was the crying nurse telling of babies being taken from incubators in Kuwaiti hospitals. I don't care if she was the Kngs niece, daughter or whatever. What's the point?
Do you, Jaws, not believe that Iraq looted Kuwaiti hospitals. banks, businesses, homes and refineries? If you ever look closely at the Highway of Death photos, you'll se a lot of high Dinar cars the Iraqis were fleeing in. Cars they had looted from Kuwait.
Speaking of photos. Did you ever see the pictures of dozens of Kuwati bodies. hanging from lamp poles?
And then their were the 700 oil wells that Saddam's guys set fire to. They also opened valve on their offshore platforms and allowed crude to flow into the Gulf. Luckily, friendlies were able to go onto the platforms after a few days and close the valves. ONLY a few million barrels of crude made it into the Gulf.
Let me guess. You can find one of your Blame America sites that PROVES Cheney's Ninjas blew up the oil wells.
With all the murder, destruction, looting and enviromental damage that Iraq comitted in Kuwait, your "Truth about the Kuwait Invasion only told us:
* Saddam allegedly gassed Kurds, but fer shur, fer shur, the USA gave him the gas.
* The USA secretly told Saddam it was OK for him to sieze Kuwait's oil fields
* THe USA dupoed Saudi Arabia into allowing us to bring in an invasion force ---and
