I was just chatting with an agent from OH. Yes, they use APEX for the clearing house.

Also you can open a cash account for $1K. But if you wish to trade spreads (which I do), you need a margin account which must be funded with a min of $2K. Just thought I'd pass on that info for anyone looking at finding a new Broker.......
