I don't see a reverse split to uplist as a negative for longs at all. That's the positive reason to uplist! That will mean more exposure for us if it's trading on a higher exchange and more mainstream investors trading or investing in the stock. Some people don't want to touch the stinky pinkies...the other exchanges lend more credibility to a stock...IMO.
Now, if a company is doing a reverse split to avoid being delisted from the exchange they are on, that's a different story. But to reveres split to uplist, is NOT a bad thing at all and should and could be positive for shareholders!
the reverse split comment was taken out of contex...Mark stated a restructuring would be necessary if they were to uplist to the AMEX...which is just one possibility he mentioned....he did not say he would r/s the stock...but to get to the AMEX I am sure they won't take a sub penny...
It’s at this stage that we will continue to work toward building our assets and industry position toward an uplist to AMEX or a similar exchange. Like it or not, all involved, we will have to restructure the stock at some point as a result.
I did read this finally last night--but it seems to me (and correct me if I'm wrong, but it seemed as though he said 'eventually' and it looked to be referring directly to the AMEX thing)
It will take a while to get off of the grey sheets and quiet down FINRA. By that time we will have sold White Space or something else big like a ServeNation rollout. I do not think the stock will be sitting in triple digits with all the news that is to come. I told Mark that I thought his timing was not good talking about a RS split as we shareholders are also having a hard time with MIKP being on the grey sheets. Caught us by surprise like it caught him. I will have to pick his brain and see what angle he is coming from on this subject.
I can see why Mark thinks the way he does as the penny stocks overseers are getting a little picky going back two years to get dirt. I am note even sure if this can be technically called dirt but nitpicking. He just wants out of the penny stocks.
