I have had to go back to a diferent restore point many,many times.

That did not work this time

I left a note with the original manufacturer of this Tower[hand built]to make sure this desktop of mine[windows 7] is compatible
with McAfee Total Protection.

I added the website to my favorites on this laptop and will install it later on my desktop.

I did that and still do that. When my son went back and try to restore my computer to the previous restore point, the virus was still there. When my son tried a totally destructive restore, the virus was still there. My son had to do a totally destructive restore from a safe mode and do something else and then do another totally destructive restore in order to get rid of the virus. My son tried many procedures before he found the right formula to get rid of the virus.
