Windows system restore is not the same thing as EAZ Fix. It's not even close. EAZ Fix will never fail to restore a hard drive to an exact previous state.
Windows restore is crap and is not a true imaging system. Windows restore only covers system files and registry setting, can not recover a crashed OS or a corrupted hard drive, and is really a terrible backup/safeguard solution.
I have had to go back to a diferent restore point many,many times.
