Another Christian--The 'virtuous Mr. Bennett' said on the radio the other day. "Abort all black babies and the crime rate in Armerica will definitely go down." What a sweetheart of a man!!!
What can I say -- You have come to the wrong conclusion based on what you see and hear from other men. I have said many times here that Christianity should be weighed and judged based solely on what the Bible says and teaches, not on what men (including myself) say or do.
Hopefully you will read the Bible and hearing what God says rather what men say, change your mind.
certain so-called christians in this country must worship the same god as al-Qaida
al-Qaida in Iraq hailed the hurricane deaths in America as the "wrath of God" as did other nutjobs such as Louis Farrakhan and Pat Robertson... even some rabbis suggested Katrina was retribution for supporting the Israeli pullout from Gaza
and these nutjobs want to talk about "common sense and logic"???... it really is sickening
A flirting church and state By Mark Stock Published: Friday, September 30, 2005 Article Tools: Page 1 of 1
God must be exhausted. Perpetually yanked in every direction: spoken for, claimed, assigned association and most recently, kidnapped.
The kidnappers: Conservative America. The dam that separates church and state, built to power freedom of religion, has sprung a gaping leak. A forceful flood of faith is sweeping the nation, seeping into the political landscape and contaminating the people.
Consider the Ohio Restoration Project (www.ohiorestorationproject.com), a nonprofit collaboration of evangelicals on a divine quest to inject Christian values into politics. Several hundred "patriot pastors" have answered such a calling, canvassing for "Godly candidates" and recruiting voters to elect them.
