God must be exhausted. Perpetually yanked in every direction: spoken for, claimed, assigned association and most recently, kidnapped.
The kidnappers: Conservative America. The dam that separates church and state, built to power freedom of religion, has sprung a gaping leak. A forceful flood of faith is sweeping the nation, seeping into the political landscape and contaminating the people.
Consider the Ohio Restoration Project (www.ohiorestorationproject.com), a nonprofit collaboration of evangelicals on a divine quest to inject Christian values into politics. Several hundred "patriot pastors" have answered such a calling, canvassing for "Godly candidates" and recruiting voters to elect them.
