The first rounds in use cost $1000 each. Once the manufacturing process is put in place, they estimated the cost to be $25-35 apiece (for the whole round). I don't know how much of that is for the S&A device, but by 2016, they are thinking the S&A device (which the Liquidmetal pieces are in) will cost $10 each.
Not to mention the back-up storage of inventory at the Ordnance Depot in the Army as well as the theater commands.
If the Navy employs similar weapons on little speed boats which attempt to attack like they did the USS Cole, it will be a massive wipe out for those suicide runners.
Obviously, NATO will be fully equipped with these in time.
