Pete, I just meant that by using the placebo as a comparison, it implies that the physician would be better off just prescribing a placebo.
This in fact is not the case as it looks like Libigel will be proven just as effective (due to placebo effect) and a much safer product.
The alternative is off label use of a prescribed male testosterone product.
By the way, I don't believe they will use this approach and challenge the FDA to approve an effective drug that was matched by the placebo and hang their hat on the safety, unless they use the route that the Professor outlined earlier.
