I have also noticed GTE stock has consistantly been on a downward trend Ever since the move to the AMEX. I Bought on a tip from this board and did a little research and thought man these guys have some real potential .This company is just about to show a profit while at the same time is designing and building a second prototype airship [stratalite]that could really offer an alternative to satelites. you could launch one of these airships and provide instant communications infrastructure.....Just think of the possibilities ..........So why the Downward trend?
The price is about what i paid for my first set of shares I bought before the reverse 15:1 split... .08 pps...so the stock is really cheap right now.....Buy more !...??????HMMMMM. Utweg agrees that GTE is VERY INEXPENSIVE right now!
Re-entered GTE at 1.80 (pre-RS 0.12) right down to a big chunk at 1.17 by liquidating MOBL (impending 150% O/S dilution will force market adjustment). Figured that 1.17 (pre RS 0.078) is unbelievably cheap considering that it was at a 2004 price before the 'stratellite' announcement. A great time to buy? I bet it is.
However, if GTE is also getting naked shorted into oblivion, it may be better to wait or at least be prepared to buy still more at a lower price.
The main problem is that the economic terrorism of naked shorting off shore makes conventional Due Diligence meaningless, as the PPS can be driven lower even AFTER it is a great VALUE - based on the number of LEGAL shares. BUT ALL THE EXTRA COUNTERFEIT ELECTRONIC SHARES THAT NEVBER GET DELIVERED DILUTE THE PPS BY AN UNKNOWN FACTOR.
THE HECK OF IT IS - EVEN WERE THE FEDS TO SUCCEED AT ANY ACTION AGAINST THESE ECONOMIC TERRORISTS, WE WOULD STILL NEVER KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT.
