Seriously, these justifications that are made (by some) for the OTC could be used to justify counterfeiting or ponzi schemes, for pete's sake. Capitalism is not a blanket excuse for fraud. Just because "buyer beware" is thrown around casually doesn't mean investors are armed with any kind of truth.
95%+ of these "companies" are setup solely as vehicles for insider enrichment, with no value add to our capitalist economy or society as a whole. Real businesses employ real people and drive the engine of our economy. Real business people like myself who have risked everything, multiple times, to build real businesses have nothing but disgust for these fake CEOs and their henchmen.
