You can point to AMD's current benchmarks, but pure performance does not mean the last word in a sale; the market is growing, and both AMD and Intel will take advantage of it for now. While AMD's performance advantage will undoubtably give them a market share gain while it lasts, Intel is going to quickly catch up. The roadmaps have been laid out in the open, and it doesn't take an engineer to extrapolate that Intel will not be performance disadvantaged in the next generation. This is not years in the future, but rapidly approaching. AMD's stock growth will be short lived.
