Houseboater's posts suggest that he moved on and got killed in later purchases before stopping posting altogether years ago. I'm fairly certain that Phan had most of his money in junky U.S. tech stocks when he went out "the back door" around 2003. That's why he's back in business, this time in Viet Nam. He was a crap shooter. No blue chips or bonds for the "Doc."
