The thing is, they know very well there is nothing illegal. All there is to see is a lot of money and someone using the current tax code to their advantage. The Dems just want to try to use them to double down on their class warfare BS. That being said, what they fail to say is Romeny wants to close many of those loopholes in the tax code.

For Dems it is NOT about tax returns. It's about what they can snip out of thousands of pages of returns and see if they can set fires. If Romney release 8 or 10 more years of his returns, it will be several more hands fulll of invented shit to throw up against TV screens.

As has been pointed out, Obamites have control of the IRS. By now they know exactly what's in Romney's returns. I thought they might leak some kind of bad news to support Reid's disgusting charges, but they didn't/ If they found anything really bad they're saving it for October 3, just before the first debate.

I think I may have said the Matt Lauer was moderating that debate. I was wrong. It's Jim Learer.

Gulf don't be too hard on DesertDrifter...he loves the GM bailout...talk about a tax dodge!!! Never in the history of corporate bankruptcy had a company been allowed to keep their loss carry forward. I'd say that might be the mother of all tax dodges.....but hey, when Obama condones a $45 Billion tax giveaway, that's great policy. When Romney follows the current tax law...he's a tax dodger.

LOL......

Thanks to a “sweetheart” tax deal worked out between General Motors and government, the Detroit auto manufacturer won’t have to pay $45.4 billion in taxes on future profits, according to recent reports from the Wall Street Journal and CNN Money.

As it turns out, not only did the feds give the failing company billions of taxpayers dollars, all while firing executives and replacing them with government-backed officials, but they also gave what some call “preferential treatment” in the form of tax breaks, according to documents filed with federal regulators.
