Silvergoldenapple, I respect that you are a long term shareholder as am I,both of us wanting long term value over anything else. I would also agree that any cash offer would likely not be worthy of the intrinsic value of USSIF,though presently might be justified if at 3/share.
A share offer works better ,so long as ,the company offering to merge is as undervalued as us.
I see some short term value created ,possibly, with the RX merger ,but it is offset by a 1/3rd drop in our personal shares ,so I really see no value at all.

The hype that we will form this great new American mining company with cash reserves and low share structure of the newco is 100% from the 70% ownership side .Why would we do that ? Unless we have unknown assets, from the D-mine that insiders are not offering opinions about, other than they believe there is a lot more gold and silver ,how does a shareholder base value , What fact?
Your stating ,after the merger the new management is going to go be looking for 'opportunities to acquire at least one underfunded, undervalued mining company this year" I guess you mean with US Silver cash reserves or ,Do we begin the dilution game again?
I further do not understand ,Why we can't begin that search for undervalued assets without RX gold? Are we really paying this much for a new management?
I would agree that Blasutti is sharp and impressive but ,in my opinion his best deal ,near term ,is the one we are on his opposite side of,where he becomes us.it's too costly ,in my opinion.

from where you will have all the money to solve your wishes ???

ok, uss has appr. 30 mill cash.

but please remember, we have to pay the debt from rx.
we have to renew their drumm-mine.
we have to explore their ground (hoping to find something).
we have to pay our monthly cost (including all the costs
which will accrue during this merger).

and on top you want to aquire another company ??

who is paying this ???

someboby told me that to merge with rx will be a terrific deal.
so why we need to buy another company ???
if rx will be so wonderful, there is no need, isn´t it ?
so why to vote in favour ??

say NO, that the best you can do !

the 5 dollar, is that wishful thinking ????

if the combined company is that worth in your humble opinion,
then the uss part will be 70%, correct ??

that means the part of uss will be 3.50 dollar, correct ?

why in heaven , must i lost 30% of my interest ???

one again : say NO, that the best you can do !

We already know that USSIF controls a resource that enables creating a great American mining company. More strange is how long it's taken so long for others to get around to realizing that is true ? Seems to me it's even been done before, with the same property ? The first steps in that direction with USSIF were taken a LONG time ago. The mines didn't fix themselves.

What we see now isn't a "first step"... but, an belated attempt to jump to the head of the line and extract an additional 30% interest in USSIF in exchange for... doing what management should be doing anyway ? Making us the same promise we already have ?

Sprott overplaying his hand, trying to take "more" of USSIF now.

I understand why he wants it... which isn't me saying I want to give it away...

I think Sprott probably followed me here... as I've been here since 2008... telling others to "hold" while Sprott was busy working at acquiring shares...

So, my answer is... no.

Then, after "no" we can talk... when the conversation being held is somewhat more balanced.

I appreciate "the plan"... have no quibbles with it... but, the hypothetical benefit of future success is not an excuse for mispricing that sustains the underpricing that USSIF holders have been subjected to throughout the period of Sprott's effort in developing tenure, here.

USSIF has been underpriced all along...

Now, we need to "take an additional 30% off" to get a deal done ?

LOL!!!
