Good observation alynnb. Supposedly they had lunch together a while back and Scoble was very impressed. Now he's going to "check it out"? You'd think he would have been following it closely.

alynnb, what JP did was to inform Scoble about the PC WR. Scoble has in fact knew about NEOM for sometime but not about the launch of PC WR that came about til now. Just like we knew that the PC WR website version was coming but didn't know until we were informed. Same thing for Scoble. Scoble already covered NEOM back in 2004 ( http://www.wirelessmoment.com/2004/07/microsofts_robe.html ) and here his own Scobleizer blog(http://radio.weblogs.com/0001011/2004/07/01.html#a7901). If Scoble covered NEOM back then, more than likely he'll cover it again in his blog about the PC WR.

Allynb, Robert Scoble definitely knows about NeoMedia (and as he blogged he had lunch w/ Chas Fritz some time ago); his comment is in regards to the content of JP's email; namely (no pun intended) the "live" pages on the site for the Name/Word Registry.

So he's checking out the update - good stuff!
