CF, DH and RS all had lunch together and CF blew RS completely out of the dining room with his Live demonstration of PC.
Also a few months after this meeting, Bill Gates mentioned how NEOM's PC technology will change the way mobile marketing will be done forever at a public forum.
While he did not mention NEOM's name directly, if you read his lecture notes or have a link to watch his speach, you will intuitively know that he is talking about NEOM's technology. IMHO, RS got to the top. Additionally, there is sketched information that NEOM met with MSFT twice in FY 04 and once at the beginning FY05.
The email to RS was exactly for the purpose that Success stated. I'm in hopes that RS will take this news all the way to the top as a 'wake up call' for Mr. Softie himself.
