I guess it "could be" a conflict or a money saving move. It would just depend on what services are provided for the money.
Additionally is it more expensive or more cost effective for services and retainer fees? Since the company has made mistakes in the past regarding contract verbiage etc. does it make sense to have a firm on hand?
I don't know the details of what services are provided or the particuars in that field.
Great post - says a lot about the spending of the resources at this company and the management judgement and style - this is money that could be saved...IMO...
It appears EDIG views itslef - atleast management appears to view itself, as no more than a company that litigates - there does not appear to be any sale folks on board - the 5 K could be spent on a sale person...hmmmmmm
value for the dollar spent?
To me that is the biggest issue - not the conflict stuff...
