I guess it "could be" a conflict or a money saving move. It would just depend on what services are provided for the money.
Additionally is it more expensive or more cost effective for services and retainer fees? Since the company has made mistakes in the past regarding contract verbiage etc. does it make sense to have a firm on hand?
