Your suggestions could well be true.
I guess my disappointment is that we should have seen a more candid release of information. I always prefer no statements, but if you are going to talk, then tell the complete story. I do not think it would have hurt share prices, since as you say there are many interim costs associated with expansion, exploration, and other growth efforts. Better to just tell story in the long run.
