Today’s NYT article on Pradaxa is a textbook case of bias stemming from asymmetric information:

What I mean by asymmetric information is that, when people bleed to death on Pradaxa, everyone “knows” the drug is at fault because there is no antidote; however, when patients die while on warfarin, the cause is less obvious and the drug doesn’t automatically get blamed.
