Trusted Computing Group to address SECURITY FOR MOBILE DEVICES at CTIA WIRELESS I.T.
& Entertainment 2005

PORTLAND, Ore., Sept. 8, 2005 - The Trusted Computing Group (TCG), whose
specifications help vendors build products that protect critical data and
information, will host a free mobile device security seminar in conjunction with the
CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2005 September 27-29 at Moscone West Convention
Center in San Francisco, Calif.

The Trusted Computing seminar, "Security and Mobile Devices: What You
Need to Know to Build Secure Systems and to Protect User Data and
Content" will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.,
in Room 3004 of Moscone West. Mobile industry experts from AuthenTec,
Inc., Nokia, VeriSign and Wave Systems will discuss the role of industry
standards, as well as next steps to ensure data and transactions are
safe.
Other topics that will be discussed at the seminar include
authentication in mobile systems; mobile phone integration; and other
use cases for mobile security.

These companies are part of the TCG's Mobile Phone Work Group, which is
developing specifications for mobile security in device hardware and
relevant software layers.

"TCG and its Mobile Phone Work Group are addressing the challenges and
opportunities for wireless security in content and transactions and to
protect against virtual and physical threats" noted Brian Berger, TCG
marketing work group chairman. "The ever-increasing variety and
popularity of mobile data services require more trust and security in
the device, service, content and network, and TCG is working to
establish standards to enable such security to be implemented
efficiently."

goinup...When I clicked on the product picture on both Foam's & Sheldon's pages, I got similar "error" pages. Strange way IMO to handle a mistake by different vendors. Could this be an imminent product that isnt available yet?......Naw, I'm not dead yet, but there is always tomorrow. Im really not depressed, just having fun thinking about another Wave paranormal event.... This is what I got (almost the same on both "finds") when I clicked the Wave picture http://www.softwarenirvana.net/dr/v2/ec_MAIN.Entry17c?CID=0&SID=41365&SP=10007&PN=5&.... One was from "software oasis", the other was "software nirvana"
