I'm curious to see what you post about the cc another point is that patients tachypylax to gaba drugs so even if you are a responder - for chronic use you want a drug in the armamentatium with a different MOA to get off the gaba agents periodically (personally i use gaba at times and sometimes jsut benadryl which imo is just as effective - for me at least)
chronic insomnia is very prevalent in the geriatric population, adn with the aging baby boomers i think a *good* new drug will do very well even wtih a host of generic alternatives out there
