Correct KnowProphet. More than 3 round trip daytrades in any stock (not just the same security) will flag ones account as a pattern day trader and be restricted.

Also a word of wisdom as I got caught in this trick bag once. If a person is selling a stock they bought on the same day and if they change their sell order after say 1/2 of their shares sold and then they change the sell price to a different price that will count as two DT's.

Thanks for clearing it up. Not always sure of all the details but don't want to run that risk of exceeding the rules and getting locked out of trades.
