Better to be invested in an untested technology that still has a chance, than one thoroughly tested that no one wants.

WW, did you really just say "thoroughly tested" ? Please, it's not anywhere near being thoroughly tested. It's never performed to its intended altitude, endurance, and time aloft. It can't IMO ever perform to its own specs no more than any other blimp has. Even if it did its not practical for wartime maneuvers because it's such an easy target. Unfortunately the newly discovered military branch refusal is IMO just the first to chunk the idea and it's lack of viability.
