AIUI the fix is not quick nor simple nor cheap I think back then when the board discussed this there were examples given of how it can take 2 to 3 years to unravel the records mess and cost million plus. The easiest way is to move into a new shell, but that is not something conducive for a company with an on-going investigation and no money.
