I gree that a war with Iran would be horrible. However, what do you see as an alternative? Negotiations? Do you seriously think the Mullahs will negotiate away Koranic prophosy.
Those people really believe thay are destined to see that the World is dominated by Islam, just as the Koran says.
IMO, the best of all possibilites would be for the Iranian Government to be over thrown, internally.
I think the worst of all senarios would be an Iran armed wth home grown nukes. I say home grown because I'd be amazed if Iran hasn't already bought a couple of nukes from North Korea or the old Soviet Union. Money is no problem for them.
If it becomes obvious that they are about to be attacked, I fully expect them to set one off out in their desert, as a warning.
