Unfortunately the Guard and Military while well equipped to wage war or not trained well for police actions. The law should be changed back to shoot to kill looters.
During the LA Riots in the early nineties, I knew business owners that put armed employees on their roof tops with assault weapons. That was the only way to deter looters, as the police were useless. Most of these businesses were Korean owned.
Rioters looted a major gun seller in LA. I remember running to my favorite sporting goods store to purchase additional ammo and all the employees were armed.
If the looters had made it to my neighborhood and specifically my So Cal residence, I would have feared for my life and my family’s life. There would have been dead looters everywhere.
