Now that looks scary to me. I would expect restaurants to suffer in this recession before packaged food companies. I have long been anti-packaged food guy. One good thing is many food commodities are breaking out into new low territory which means to me that food prices will be lower than now on election day. Only corn is up posible because the EU told France that they can't ban GK maize. Monsanto knows who to support in what is needed elections.

But, Mexicans still believe in Democracy. Mexico some day may have to build a wall to keep Americans out? I'm being a bit tongue and cheek here.

General Mills has agreed to buy Brazilian food maker Yoki Alimentos for 1.95bn reais (about $853m) in a move it says could double its annual sales in Latin America.
