Erik, there could be several justifiable reasons CEO Danny Alex
ran (past tense) occasional "promos."
1) To TRY to lift-UP the Share-Price, THEREBY making the Stock
AND the Company appear more substantial, significant, viable,
and CREDIT-worthy (i.e., LOAN-worthy). This reason alone often
justifies resorting or relying on the occasional "promo" campaign --
ESPECIALLY for emerging Micro-Cap Companies whose very VISIBILITY
is hampered and impeded because they tend to become lost-in-the-clutter.
2) To TRY to improve/increase Shareholder Value, or the Value
of Shareholders'/Investors' Shareholdings.
3) To burnish and buff-up the Company's and the Stock's well-being,
and to pull-out the Stock from its momentary doldrums.
4) To generate SOME modicum of new, fresh visibility for the
Company, AND to reap a new harvest of "new blood" Investors,
AND to stir-up a little FUN AND EXCITEMENT along the way.
5) At least for the interim, to respond to and mollify the
Shareholding/Investing Community during the often excruciatingly
lengthy times between Quarters.
6) To lob a little firecracker or grenade so-as to call attention
to the Company, and create an element of SURPRISE!
